Services / Platforms & Activation / Retail & POS
A retail setup where online and the store work together.
Inventory truth between Shopify and the till, BOPIS without manual errors, click-and-collect that really clicks. I connect POS, shop, ERP and marketing into one setup that grows with you.
Inventory truth
One source of truth for stock across shop, POS and warehouse — no double sales or out-of-stock frustration.
BOPIS & click-and-collect
Buy-online-pickup-in-store only works with a clean data base. I build it end-to-end the right way.
Cross-channel reporting
Online sales + store sales in one dashboard. Clear where revenue comes from — not from two separate worlds.
What you can book
Six building blocks, individually or as a package
Retail audit first, then a targeted setup plan for inventory, BOPIS and reporting.
Retail audit
Setup inventory: POS, shop, ERP, warehouse. Where inventory drift arises, which workflows are manual. Output: map.
POS tool selection
Shopify POS, Lightspeed, Square — a decision matrix by industry, store count, complexity.
Inventory sync
Real-time sync between POS, shop and ERP. Conflict resolution for over-selling, automatic reorder triggers.
Omnichannel flows
BOPIS, reserve-in-store, click-and-collect, cross-store fulfilment. Customer workflows without friction.
Loyalty integration
Customer profiles, points, vouchers — the same whether earned in-store or online. CRM connection.
Cross-channel reporting
Online + store sales dashboard, best-performing stores, channel mix, marketing-attribution hooks.
How do we differ?
Three ways to build a retail setup
SaaS partner, classic system integrator or senior operator. Depth and the marketing bridge differ.
| Shopify/Lightspeed partner Platform-certified studios | Retail IT house Classic system integrator | Truong Suarez Setup + marketing bridge | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Platform depth | Very deep in one platform | Multi-system integration | Pragmatic: SaaS where possible, custom where needed |
| Marketing connection | Rarely in scope | Operations-focused | Setup couples sales data with performance marketing |
| Time to live | 4–12 weeks standard | 3–6 months setup | 6–10 weeks for an 80% solution |
| Price range | €20–60k setup + tool licences | €80–200k with a custom share | Fixed-price audit + €30–90k setup depending on scope |
| Best phase | Single-platform lock-in | Multi-location enterprise | Mid-market with 1–10 stores coupling online + store |

How we work
Five phases, one point of contact
Pilot store first, then scale. Big-bang is retail death.
Audit
Setup inventory, inventory drift, workflow friction. Output: triage.
Concept + tool selection
POS decision, inventory schema, sync strategy.
Pilot
One store + shop, complete setup, BOPIS test. Output: live pilot.
Rollout
Scaling to more stores, training, SOPs.
Iteration
Reporting upkeep, new flows (e.g. endless aisle, subscriptions).

Recommended entry point
Two paths, depending on where you stand
Clean up an existing setup or build omnichannel from scratch? Both get a pilot-first approach.
For you if
A setup exists and drift hurts
Inventory between POS and shop drifts apart, manual sync workflows eat hours, BOPIS doesn't work reliably.
7–10 days · report + 60-min call
Core Audit / Renew existing
- – Setup map (POS, shop, ERP)
- – Inventory-drift diagnosis
- – Workflow-friction list
- – Improvement roadmap
For you if
Building omnichannel from scratch
First store, new brand, or a complete tech-stack switch. You need tool selection + architecture + pilot plan.
7–10 days · report + 60-min call
Core Audit / Build new
- – POS/shop/ERP tool recommendation
- – Inventory-schema concept
- – BOPIS & omnichannel plan
- – Pilot-first rollout roadmap

FAQ
What clients often ask before the first collaboration
Shopify POS or Lightspeed?
Shopify POS for D2C/fashion brands with a Shopify shop and 1–5 stores — easy integration, best mobile experience. Lightspeed for multi-location with complex inventory (hospitality, sports, fashion with size matrices), stronger inventory tools. Tillhub as a German alternative with better tax-office integration.
Is the standard Shopify POS / Lightspeed plugin enough?
For standard inventory with 1–2 stores: yes. For more complex setups (matrix variants, cross-store stock, reserve logic) standard often isn't enough — we build custom bridges (webhook + middleware). We check this in the audit.
How does BOPIS work technically?
Three components: (1) real-time per-store inventory view in the shop, (2) reserve mechanics on online purchase, (3) in-store POS workflow with pickup confirmation. Plus customer notifications (mail/SMS) on ready-for-pickup. Shopify POS has this natively, Lightspeed needs a plug-in or custom setup.
Are the POS systems GoBD-compliant?
Shopify POS and Lightspeed have German TSE integrations (technical security device). Tillhub is German + GoBD-compliant out of the box. For existing setups we check TSE status, data-processing clauses and Z-report export for the tax office.
Do I need custom code or are apps enough?
For 80% of mid-market setups: apps are enough. Custom code pays off for specific workflows (e.g. bulk orders with volume discounts, endless-aisle lookup across stores). In the audit we make the app-vs-custom decision transparent per workflow.
